Nonlinear Models and Plasticity
In mechanics, linear models have been well developed and received wide acceptance. They are based on linear elasticity, incompressibility of fluids and ideal gas properties. At the present stage of scientific and technical advances very exacting requirements are imposed upon materials and structures. The necessity to take into account their properties in nonlinear area of the mechanical behavio...
متن کاملMetric Domains, Holomorphic Mappings and Nonlinear Semigroups
We study nonlinear semigroups of holomorphic mappings on certain domains in complex Banach spaces. We examine, in particular, their differentiability and their representations by exponential and other product formulas. In addition, we also construct holomorphic retractions onto the stationary point sets of such semigroups.
متن کاملNonlinear semigroups and a hyperbolic conservation law
This paper is concerned with the hyperbolic conservation law M i\ Sxa . db(u) _ St + ^ x ^ ~ ° (1.2) u(x,O) = f (x) . By means of the Crandall-Liggett theory of nonlinear semigroups ([1]), it will be shown that the operator A : u H-> ——b(u) Q. X generates a semigroup S = {Sfc; t ;> 0} of contraction operators on L (IR). The function t h-» S.f may then be thought of as a generalized solution of ...
متن کاملcompactifications and representations of transformation semigroups
this thesis deals essentially (but not from all aspects) with the extension of the notion of semigroup compactification and the construction of a general theory of semitopological nonaffine (affine) transformation semigroup compactifications. it determines those compactification which are universal with respect to some algebric or topological properties. as an application of the theory, it is i...
15 صفحه اولNonlinear Numerical Integration Scheme in Strain Space Plasticity
Strains are applied to the integration procedure in nonlinear increments todecrease the errors arising from the linearization of plastic equations. Two deformationvectors are used to achieve this. The first vector is based on the deformations obtained bythe first iteration of the equilibrium step, and the second is acquired from the sum of thesucceeding iterations. By applying these vectors and...
